How it felt to use
Fifteen hours covers roughly one and a half average audiobooks a month. For occasional listeners that is plenty and costs nothing extra.
The listening experience is the weak point. Spotify's player was built for music, and chapter navigation, bookmarks and speed controls are all a step behind dedicated apps.
The hour cap arrives without ceremony, and top-ups are poor value. Anyone finishing three books a month should subscribe elsewhere.
